Exclamation New build - opinions needed

Hello everyone. I came here searching for some help on my new build/upgrade. Basically I was running a q6600 on a cheap gigabyte mobo with ddr2 mem. Recently I've been getting a lot of issues with this outdated computer so I took it apart and it's laying in my closet now. I'm planning on basically building a new pc, the only things that I'm keeping is my Coolermaster case which I purchased recently, and my GTX 460 for the time being; will upgrade within the next month. I might also consider keeping my 550watt psu depending on whether you guys think it's a good idea or just upgrade to a 750 for 60$ more.

I don't want to spend more then 700$ on this and so far my total came out to 620. So if you guys want to recommend something a tad bit more expensive go right ahead. Also if you would please link me the parts you swapped via tigerdirect.com that would be great. I'm going to head there sometime this week. I'm no pc wizz so any help will be really appreciated; assembly I can take care of, just choosing the right parts I don't feel too comfortable about. This pc will be used mainly for gaming; I don't expect the best gaming pc or anything, just something that can keep up with todays games like GW2.

Here's a link to the parts I've chosen. Once again, any help is greatly appreciated and thank you in advance.

I must admit that the overall savings isn't a whole lot, however for a gaming rig 8 GB is enough RAM, the Seagate drive doubles the capacity and will perform much better. It's always advised to not go cheap on the power supply, and although that Ultra PSU may be good, I much prefer Seasonic and Corsair.
Thanks a lot. The money you just saved me will go toward a nice video card.

May I ask why did you choose that cpu over the FX-8150?

My System Specs

Default

Does it have to be tiger direct?

Intel i5-3570K - System Build - PCPartPicker

3570k, 1TB seagate HDD, seasonic based PSU and argueably better ram (though again 8GB rather than 16) all for $586 before tax / shipping (US).. or $570 CAN$

Motherboard is swappable if you don't want an Asrock to gigabyte(hate em, CS not the boards), MSI or a lower end Asus for about the same price.
