My System Specs

Default Looking for system recommendations.

Hey Guys, looks like my system may have died (Coolit Eco leaked all over my board and GPU) so I am looking for an upgrade. I was thinking either a new I5 3750k or I7 3770K and maybe this board:

ASUS P8Z77-V Pro LGA1155 Z77 DDR3 SLI 3PCI-E16 2PCI-E1 2PCI SATA3 DisplayPort USB3.0 Motherboard - ASUS - P8Z77-V Pro

I don't need all the stupid wifi option so is there anything else similar on the market (Asus, Gigabyte) that you would recommend? Somebody else suggested the following board but I am not sure what the difference between the "express" Z77 chipset and the full version is:

Gigabyte Z77X-UD3H ATX LGA1155 Z77DDR3 3PCI-E16 3PCI-E1 HDMI CrossFireX/SLI SATA3 USB3.0 Motherboard - Gigabyte - GA-Z77X-UD3H

I just want a stable board with lots of connectors, maybe a single intel network connector (I have a intel PCIe card otherwise), basic sound (I have a Auzentech Prodigy PCI card) and no unnecessary bells and whistles.

I already have the ram, SDDs, etc. This is the ram I have already:

G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1866 (PC3 14900) Desktop Memory Model F3-14900CL9D-8GBXL

Asus for their RMA centre in Canada.. Gaming build and even if you do photo editing etc then the i5 is all gravy.. the i7 if you do allot of multi-threaded work..

What about this board? It doesn't have all the wifi junk of the Pro board:

ASUS P8Z77-V LE Plus ATX LGA1155 Z77 DDR3 3PCI-E16 2PCI-E1 2PCI SATA3 DVI HDMI DP USB3.0 Motherboard - ASUS - P8Z77-V LE PLUS

The le boards just seem a bit too cheap to me (for what you actually pay) but I'm sure there is nothing wrong with them... If I was going Asus myself I would start at the V or V Pro depending on your needs it's your shout.
