Default I am in a pinch, need to find bundle under $300-$350 ASAP

Hello,

I have a Q6600 system that is running perfectly (oc to 3.2ghz) and I think I have someone that would like to buy the combo from me.
I want to upgrade my system but this leaves with little time and with so many choices I am overwhelmed.
I would like to buy a combo CPU/MOBO/RAm for $300.00-$350.00.
I guess that will take Intel out of the picture and leave me with AMD but I am fine with that.
I want to get 8 gigs of ram.
Buying in the US is also fine with me as I can drive south of the border to pick up.
I already a OCZ Agility 3 SSD and for video I have a HD6850 so I am covered.
Is it possible?

Thank you for the reply...
$340.00 is a bit on the limit.
One thing that I noticed is that the mobo doesnt have any IDE ports.
Is this normal nowadays?

You mentioned $300 to $350. $340 is a really good price for an i5 combo including RAM.

Yes, IDE is obsolete. Everything is SATA. That board will include Sata 6GB/s. If you have an IDE hard drive, you'll need to purchase a SATA to IDE connector. Or save your money because your IDE drive is really slow!

Grab a couple of ide external enclosures if you want to use them.. don't know of any boards that will have IDE these days.

Even if you have to drop to an i3 you'll be better off than an AMD rig... leaves you with an easy upgrade path (drop in an i5 in a couple years.)

Honestly, I don't even know that an IDE drive would have the capacity to make it useful as a storage drive these days.

Has anyone found use with the bundles from CC? Canada Computers | Computers, Computer Parts, Computer Componets, Hardware & Accessories There's an i5 but without RAM, can't touch that ncix deal, but for shipping costs...retail is best I guess.

Buy a $60 500GB SATA drive and transfer all the files you got from IDE drives, and then you can get a i3 CPU + the NCIX bundle.
