I like Lian Li cases these days, they are just so sleek and clean looking. For ssd's I'd just get a single drive of highest capacity you can afford. You won't have TRIM with RAID. That looks like it will be a nice clean no fuss build btw.

if your not going to be doing allot of editing then I'd stick with the 1155 chips.. they will be plenty fast enough but the renders will take a lil longer.. it's a case of is it worth the extra spend?

Everything else looks solid.. may think about the intel 520 over the OCZ drive.. longer warranty, just as fast and the toolbox to click and clean the drive when it gets dirty.

For the case.. really is personal preference.. Do you like cases that look like they need laser guns on them?, Sleek cases, stylish ones, quiet ones, Brilliant air-flow, brilliant for water????

fractal define XL and the corsair 600t white are 2 of my faves at the moment but there are lots of others that will be as good or better depending on what you want.

Hi guys....

dandelioneater: Thanks, i did have forget about the non-trim with ssd in raid.

Dzzope: About PC case, i prefer something sober. Guns and laser thing is not my cup of tea but im always open to idea. For now, i have a Lancool PC-K62 which i still love it. I will probably keep it for my PC that i have already in it. In the best world, Something sober with a great air-flow and silent as possible.

Im gonna loook at thoses Intel 520 SSD today.

What about a new screen ?!? A 1920X1200 or more ?

Thank you

I suggest you not to buy a X79 motherboard, those are made for people who needs 8 pci-express cards setups.

If it's for gaming the z77 motherboard with a 3570k or 3770k will get you way better performances.

This is what I'd suggest:

CPU: i5 3570k, this CPU produces less heat than the 3770k so you can clock it higher and get better performances in games.
Mobo: ASUS Z77 MAXIMUS V FORMULA
RaM: 16Gb(32Gb if you have too much money) of 1600MHz, higher MHz won't give you any noticeable extra performance
Video: GTX 680 4Gb SLI
HS: Corsair H100

Vinnce: my intention is to upgrade to a SLI setup with another GTX680 in a future..

Looks good then, I was just saying that because the 3960X is worth a $1000 and you would get way better games performance with a 3570k OC'd with twin 680 4Gb than you would with a single one and the xtreme edition CPU

Uhhhh, what? It'll cost less, but you'll get better performance out of X79...

i7 3820 = i7 3770K, but with greater PCI flexibility and IMO better platform options.

3930/60K blows ALL out of the water
