Z77 Sabertooth is one of the best 1155 mobo's available IMO. And i'm not just saying that because i own one lol

Sabertooth is a very very good board.. probably a lil more board than you need.. think about saving a bit and getting the P8Z77 V Pro.

The ram is spot on... if you didn't have it I would suggest 2x4GB sticks (of the same speed and timings)
Ideally you should try find 1 more stick so that you have it all paired up as 4 GB is a lil low but usable. (you don't want to use 3 sticks)

Thanks for all the input everyone! Once truly final question... is a 750 watt PSU good enough to support the ASUS GTX 670 and an i5-3570k? I've looked at power consumption benchmarks and under load it looks like the GTX 670 can consume as much as 400 watts... which is more than 150 watts more than my current GPU.

a quality 550W unit would be more than enough to power a an IB cpu and 670. (750W will be fine) The 670 won't consume 400W itself. It only uses 2 6 pin connectors each spec'd for 75W plus another 75W on the PCIe slot, so it will consume maybe 150-200W at full load. 3570k about 80W at full load not OC'd. So you will have lots of headroom.

edit: Your entire system would barely consume 400W from the wall at full load.
