Question on Antec 900 (usb 2 type) gamer case

Hi fellow techies!

Built a system Core i7 3820 Asus P9x79 Pro 16 gig ram 1866 mhz, 120 gig ssd sata 2, 2 x 500 gig seagate drives - sata 1, using new Coolermaster Hyper 212 Evo to cool cpu.

Do I need to run the two front input case fans at full bore (rather noisy) or is it ok to put the fans to medium or low? The fans are 3 switch type and are not pluggable to my motherboard as far as I know.

Currently running back fan plugged in to motherboard, top case fan on low right now.

Suggestions?

Set them. To a speed that keeps ur temps at a comfortable level and the least amount of noise

what ever setting you like best. Temps in that case won't be problem so go for a balance of noise and airflow. I run my fans on med in my antec 300 (balance of noise and airflow for me). Some people hate computer noise and would run them on low and except slightly higher temps, while others don't care about noise and just want their computer as quiet as possible.

I had a 900 and controlled the front fans via a Fan controller. I would set the fans to HI and adjust them as needed. I do remember them being quite loud prior to the fan controller though.

I used to have a 900, never had temp problems running on low but i opted for Medium just in case. On another note, be careful pulling the drive cages out, I tore the fan wires more than once and had to solder/heat shrink them back together.

Thanks all for the suggestons. Running case with fans on low and no problems. Need to get molex / fan connectors to run fans from motherboard though. Had no clue they existed.
