My System Specs

Default

Suffice to say that most people building a general system for folding/gaming will place a priority on gaming when it comes to performance, while folding comes second. Therefore, a GTX680 is much more desirable than a GTX580. Eventually Stanford will get the code optimized for the nVidia's new cards. (now if only they could work on optimizing for openCL).

So, my vote is go for the GTX680 and forget about the 580.

I'd rather stick air and fans. Hardly any maintenance with air. Water is i think a lot more expensive . . .

He's talking about a closed loop (no maintenance apart from removing dust from the rad).. all in 1 unit thats about the same price as the air cooler your getting..
