I'm planning on buying/building this soon (I'd say next 48 hours if I'm lucky). Just wondering if you might give me your opinion. It's really an all in one computer, not strictly gaming or rendering or web use. I also will be using some virtual machines for work. Do you think this combo is solid?
CPU: FX-8120
MB: 990FX Asus Sabertooth
GPU: Sapphire HD7950
PSU: Corsair AX850
SSD: Crucial M4 128gb SATA3
HDD: 2TB (Can't remember at the top of my head)
RAM: G.Skill Sniper Series DDR3 2133MHz CL9 or CL11
Cooling: Custom water cooling loop (Still in deciding on some things)
I'm pretty set in stone for most of my build, my only concerns are the SSD and Ram (they were the last things I looked at).
From what I've read, the M4 is a fairly reliable SSD in comparison to say OCZ Vertex where they had some issues, do you think that there is any noticeable difference in speeds between the two (real life and not benchmarks)?
For the Ram, I read somewhere that using higher frequency ram with the FX series can increase it's performance, but strictly on a ram basis, would I see a difference between a CL9 and CL11 module? Between the 2, it's really down to a 10$ difference

, I'm just curious.
Thanks in advance,
Monkeyyy
