I also don't have too much money to spend either since the wife and I are saving up for other items as well. Here's what I am thinking of using:
Corsair vengeance C70 CASE
Asus Maximus Gene V mATX Board
Intel i7 3770K CPU
Corsair vengeance red DDR3 8gb (2x4GB)
Corsair AX850 PSU
Asus gtx 660 (will use my gtx560 ti until it comes out)
Intel 330 SSD (120GB)
WD caviar green 2TB HDD
LG bluray drive
Corsair H100
Please let me know what you guys would change if anything at all. Thanks! |
I just took a look at your current system specs:
Motherboard: Gigabyte Guerilla G1
Processor: Core i7 960
Memory: Gskill sniper 12GB
Video: Gigabyte GTX 550Ti X2 (SLI)
HDD: WD Green Caviar 1TB
PSU: OCZ TX 750 W
Case: Corsair 600T
Sound: Onboard
Optical: LG GH22NS70 Super Multi DVDRW
Monitor: Acer 22" x2
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate
It appears you already have a power house. Why not just spend the money on an SSD? Am I missing something?! :P
