Talking New Gaming RIG

Hi,

I am planning to build a gaming rig for $1400 and i am planning to go in for the following

Intel i5-2500K processor
Asus P8Z68 V-PRO Motherboard
G.Skill RipjawsX 8Gb 1600Mhz RAM
Coolermaster Hyper 212 Evo CPU Cooler
Corsair 400R Mid-Tower Cabinet
Corsair 850W PSU
500GB Western Digital HDD
120GB Corsair SSD
23" Samsung LED Monitor

And I am confused as to which Graphic card should i go for, I have a budget of $300 for the graphics card.
Please suggest me a good graphics card and also have a look at the above config. and do let me know if there are any changes.

Thanx

EVGA 480's are $250 new, used 580's and 570's galore on HWC.

In your budget you could go for a used 570, an hd 7850 new, or wait out for Nvidia's new midrange cards to be released (not sure exactly when that will be). Those would be the only options I would consider.

Sapphire 7850 OC

Also, looks like a decent all around common sense build. I like it!

Hang in there for a 580 GTX. The prices will drop like a rock, once the 680s are more available.

Look for a used card here on the forums. Nice build, 2500K is still the best bang for the buck IMO and will last a while for games.
