ok so far you have provided me with a few good reasons :p i wouldn't say i have the cash laying around lol i just like the idea of having the option of using a crazy amount of RAM :P and having a better solution for multi-GPU.

P.S. ya i know the GTX 260 is slowing me down LMAO i will be upgrading it really soon.

I would assume SB will see some price cuts, but it's the cost of Intel's planning. Perhaps they don't really have much stock left, who knows. Maybe they're just waiting until their stock levels reach a certain point before releasing Ivy.
