Decent card for the money. The 6870's are a great bang for the buck. And that gigabyte one has good cooling.
Just messin around....

You should go for the 7870 if you can. Great OC potential too.

I received all my components yesterday - i5 2500k, Asus p8z68 v gen3, Crucial M4 128 GB, etc.
I'll start building tonight probably but now the time has come to finally choose a GPU...

7850 (~ $300 with taxes and shipping), 7870 (~ $400) ????

And what brand? Gigabyte?

I will be playing at 1920x1200 (24'). Deus Ex Human Revolution and Mass effect 3 for the next few weeks, before moving to newer games.

Any suggestions?

I bought a Gigabyte Radeon HD 7850 OC 975MHZ 2GB.

260$ free shipping at DirectCanada.com
Somewhat expensive but I needed a card. Anyways, the Radeon 7850 seems to offer the best bang for the buck.

Simply cannot wait to install in my new build!
