Go for LiteOn if you just want a bluray reader. Mine is over a year old now and I use it quite a bit also they're usually inexpensive vs other brands. Just my opinion.

Well we are entitled to our own opinions for sure....however I ordered the LG BR Drive and 3 more DVDRW LG Drives yesterday before moocow had his say. So it is kinda too late. I will stay with them and see.

Thank you for your opinions though. I always welcome them.

I think that I see a compromise with the case. How is this Coolermaster Haf X that is just 169.99 on NCIX?

There's no doubt about it. It's definitely one of the best, full featured cases on the market today, especially considering its $170 price tag. The only thing is it's looks, which is objective anyways. I don't like the look of the case. If you do, then power to you. But from a technical standpoint, it's a great case! You can't go wrong with a coolermaster, hehe.

I must admit to liking the Corsair case better. Much nicer and streamlined compared to the HAF series.

While I personally prefer the HAF series, nothing wrong with either of the Corsairs you mentioned

Corsair Obsidian Series 650D Mid-Tower Case ATX 4X5.25 6X3.5INT USB USB3.0 1394 Fan Ctrl No PS - DirectCanada for $150. Free shipping over $50 there too, or you can price match on NCIX.

Ok....here is an update.

650D Purchased from DirectCanada.

Power Supply has been changed. This was a great deal and included a game that looked interesting and fun called Dirt 3. The PSU is called a XFX 1050W. FOr the price and a game it was worth it. I did a lot of research on it and it got great reviews and it made by Seasonic.....same thing as the Corsair PSU....so I decided to give it a whirl.

Link to PSU is here: XFX PRO1050W Black Edition Single Rail ATX 12V 87A 24PIN ATX Full Modular 80PLUS Gold PSU - XFX - P11050BEFX

Got a 200mm Bitfenix fan for the front of the 650D.

Still cannot decide if I should go 2011 or 1155. I simply cannot decide!!!!!! Is there a comparison between the two that someone can point me to? I hate buying old technology but the cost of the 2011 parts are out of this world!!!!

Start by checking how many SATA 6GBS ports are available on the mobos you like. You need a minimum of 4 for your SSD's, that will narrow your choice significantly.

As for a comparison, check the 3820 review Mac published last week. Explains the pros and cons pretty clearly.
