So as I am stuck waiting 2 more weeks for my LGA2011 System my wife got sick of waiting for my old computer and started building her own out of parts I traded for and gear I already had as well as a new case and mobo.
Heres her system
Bitfenix Shinobi white tower (NEW)
1KW SR 1000 watt PSU (traded form member for it)
White DVD RW (painted white LG)
16GB Patriot AMD 1600 Ram
Asus M5A99X-Evo board (NEW)
2 7770 Sapphire OC 1Ghz Cards(Gifted to me:))
Windows 7 home 64(had a copy kicking around)
2x60GB SDD Raid Stripe (traded a member here a large spinning drive for the 2)
1TB WD Black Data Drive (From my media Center)
AMD B45 Unlocked Quad core CPU (Customer gave to me)
Lots and lots of random water-cooling parts (S.swillson I owe you a life for all the goodies:))
So we started building it today waiting for tons of fittings and the dual rad did not fit so I ripped apart a thermaltake Big water to steal its single Rad to paint today.
Put the luna cpu cooler on from S.swillson and a Stiftech MCW30 Southbridge cooler.
Heres some pix of the board and before painting stuff.
***Build Day 1***
So today we start first lets take a look at the build items sponsored by ASUS, Sapphire and many more also brought to you by the best damn form on earth HWC I will list a total and full thank you when I finish tomorrow as I cannot thank the members of the form enough.
First things first my wife is building this system with my guidance the only things she is not doing is cutting or using the Dremel shes a scared :P
Second yes this build looks way better then any of my other builds cram it shes got a swelled head enough :P
Third we are far from done we now need to find some 140MM Fans and a 2.5 dual to 3.5 Bay adapter for the SSD's either that or mount them to the back :P
Pic 1 The Gear

Pic 2 System assembled but Sapphire card 1 doesnt work with the water block

Pic 3 Problem solved

Pic 4 It fits now

Pic 5 Looks sexy

Pic 6 Very clean

Pic 7 all boxed up till tomorrow
So next is lights, and PSU, as well as coolant, leak test, Deciding if it needs a 2nd 140mm rad and getting thin fans for the setup, hooking everything up, testing, then loading windows on the raid setup and editing the Registry to auto install everything on her 1tb Drive unless selected by user to go on the OS raid.
Hope you all enjoy this far PS We will be cutting the case up front and back soon.
Back says "FIGHT LIKE A GIRL" Breast Cancer Survivors slogan means a lot to us.
Front will have "PASSIONFRUIT69" wifes gamer tag
So the Build finished and I forgot to upload the pix so here is the finished system

Then we had issues... then we found said issues

Then we solved the bad ram issue and put it back together

A little his and her computer pix for you :P

And now we game

Oh and this is to the people that said a rad wouldn't fit in the Shinobi without modding it
In conclusion the system now is fully stable and runs amazingly well
