i'm looking to build a computer in the month or two i'm looking for some advice on the parts i've picked compatibility and quality. The computer will be used for gaming,internet and media. All i can tell you is that i have most of those components, even recently ordered the mobo you chose, it's a pretty solid build. Unless you're planning on adding another video card though, you don't need a 950w power supply.

Looks good overall. Given you won't buy for a month or two you should just wait and get a new intel processor (ivy bridge) that should be out around the same time you will be buying. That and if you will only be running the one graphics card you could easily get by on a 650w power supply or an 850w if you plan to add a second video card at a later time.

Look like you have done your homework the only thing I would change is the Vertex 3. Vertex 3's have a high failure rate so I can't recommend one, you should check out a Crucial M4 SSD, reliability and speed.
