Default Need help for my first time build..thanks

Hi everyone, ive been planning on building my own gaming rig. This will be my first build and i really need your help. As of the moment i store an Intel Core i5-2400 (3.1G). For my MB and GPU, im quite not sure so i didnt buy yet. I think for my MB = Asus P8H67-M LE H67 V/S/GL + GPU = PowerColor HD6870 1gb ddr5. I dont intend to xfire nor OC. Please please let me know if there is something wrong with my build or maybe other better options you can suggest. Thanks

There's nothing wrong with that build- that a good mATX board.

That build isn't the best for overclocking so if that isn't your goal and you're on a tight budget, you might consider pairing that board with an i3 2120 and save some more money- it has the same clock speed.

Only P67 and Z68 can overclock CPUs via multiplier, via FSB they fall very short at 106-108 MHz FSB. And the only overclockable cpus are the i5 2500k and i7 2600k/2700k. Otherwise nothing wrong with that build. But I have to agree that for gaming only the i3 would be the better choice, very good performance and cheaper.

So if thats the case. Correct me if im wrong, but do you think my upcoming Asus P8H67-M LE H67 V/S/GL bottlenecks my Intel Core i5-2400 (3.1G)?
