I have the 212 (not the plus) and heard similar things.
I didn't have a problem. it's (if they are the same) a case of attach mounts to board (basically nut and bolt with a hole in the bolt to attach the cooler)
once thats done then you simply screw the cooler to the mounts.
While the cut-out on my case (back-plate) was a lil small and made it a bit awkward(you can just attach while the board is out), I couldn't find any other issue.
P.S if your just gaming then get the X4 rather than X6 chip as you'll not be using the 6 cores.
