Default Best quality OCing board for i7 2600k in new build

So I'm hopefully going to be upgrading from my phenom 2 x4 955(C2 Stepping >.<) to an i7 2600k and I'm looking into motherboards. So can anyone recommend the best "quality" board for OCing for the 2600k. Of course I'm not going to be trying to get to 6ghz or anything crazy probably somewhere around 4.2-4.5ghz.

Edit: if it makes any difference I'll hopefully be reusing my 4 sticks of ram from my current system.

Also am I correct that the z68 chipset is the latest for the 1155 socket?(been a while since I have followed intel chipsets) and one more thing am I also correct that the "C" batch of the 2600k is better for OCing or is that just a myth?

Thanks for all the help/suggestions

P.S. My whole case/lighting theme is red/black ;)

Best bang for under $200 if you don't mind mini atx boards is the Newegg.ca - ASUS Maximus IV Gene-Z LGA 1155 Intel Z68 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard this thing is a little beast haha and it's perfect for a red/black theme. You could also get the atx version as well if you're looking for an atx board Newegg.ca - ASUS Maximus IV Extreme-Z LGA 1155 Intel Z68 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Extended ATX Intel Motherboard Asus is really stepping up their game with mbs, can't really think of any mbs with a red/black colour scheme besides evga but I personally don't like their mbs ever since shamino left.

Yup z68 is latest that's out right now for 1155

Yea seems asus may be my only option if I strictly want to stay red/black but it's not a requirement it's a cosmos s case so the side isn't exactly clear also it does seem like I'm going to have to get a pci-e x1 wireless card(yes I game on wireless sadly)

Newest batch of both 2500-2600 are apprently real nice for OC as long as you have a decent cooler.

I like my Hyper 212+ with push/pull of the stock fan, cheap, but real good cooler.

Maximus or z68 v-vpro are apprently excellent as well in all regards.

Personally only buy into Z68 if you plan to use the SSD cache or discrete graphics. Otherwise just get a P67 board.

Well I don't think cooling will be too much of a problem since my H100 which I will reuse seems to keep my oc'd phenom 2 under control at 40C normal use (46C running prime) so hopefully I can get one of the C batch 2600k's. As for features I guess I should have mentioned I do plan on using SSD caching unless I can get a 250GB+ SSD(doubt it) and I do have a HD 4890 which I can use until I can get my hands on a gtx 580 or 7970.

From what I have read on the net is that some MSI boards can get problematic. I myself haven't really had huge issues with them other than having mosfets blow on an older board(no heatsinks so it was almost expected) and having a corrupted bios from factory on my newer board nothing really serious like killing other parts of my system or anything. The maximus does seem tempting but kinda odd (to me anyways) having a mobo worth more than the proc but I guess it does have a lot of features and is a quality board. Thanks for all the suggestions everyone.

I would get the maximus. To much problem with the Gene on my side...good board but seems it's hard to toss that much love in a little monster.
