Well, a few things we need to know first!

Whatcha gonna use your PC for?
Got a brand preference?
Are you overclocking?
Are you building this anytime soon?
What's your Monitor Resolution?

Next month adds a little guess work, as we don't really know what the street price of the 7970s are.

You can fit an AMD 7970, Intel 3930k, 256GB SSD, 1TB storage, 16GB DDR3 1866Mhz in that budget, assuming the 7970s are selling for $750. It is very likely that they wont be inflated that much be retailers, so you are well within your budget (they are probably going to be price from $575 - 675 pure speculation).

Also, does $3000 include shipping, taxes, etc?

Eyefinity upgradable____vs___single display
________________________________________
GIGABYTE GA-X79-UD3__vs___Asrock X79 Extreme3: The UD3 is 4-way SLI capable
Intel Core i7-3930K
Phanteks PH-TC14PE
16GB RAM 4x4GB
Radeon HD 7970: You can add two more for the Asrock, 3 more for the UD3
OCZ Agility 3 240GB
LITE-ON DVD Burner
SeaSonic 860W______vs______Seasonic 1250W: You can add a 2nd PSU if you're going for 4 cards
BLACKHAWK-ULTRA____vs____ Storm Trooper: The Ultra can mount 2 PSUs, cools better and is more quite
ASUS VG236HE________vs________Asus VG27: You can add more displays if you add more GPUs.
Logitech Z906
Asus Vulcan Headset
Steelseries Sensei Mouse
DAS S Professional Silent Keyboard

So what if you spend $3,000 now and find your self with another $3000 later? I'm sure you'll be glad you prepared your rig for that upgrade :p

I think u shoud not go for Sandforce controller, if u can afford this beefy pc then go for crucial m4 or Intel controller SDD or OCZ Octane!!! :)
