Default My Recent PC Upgrade

CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 965 CPU @ 3.40GHz, stock speed, stock cooling

Motherboard: Asus M4A77TD AMD 770

Graphics card: EVGA GeForce GTX 560 Ti 1GB, stock speed

Monitor: 23" Asus VH242H LCD

Sound Card: Onboard VIA VT1708S Audio Chipset

RAM: 4GB(2 x 2GB) Kingston HyperX 1600MHz DDR3 9-9-9-24T

Storage Drive(s): Samsung Spinpoint F4EG 1.5TB SATA
Seagate ST3750640AS 750GB SATA

Optical Drive(s): AOpen DVD-ROM 1802A

Power Supply: Ultra 750W LSP750

Operating System: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit, including lastest Windows Updates

Other Details: 285.62 Nvidia Forceware graphics driver
System not overclocked, nor modified.
All Lastest drivers downloaded from Motherboard manufactor website.

I recently upgraded my PC for chirstmas, I know some components have been out for awhile. I'm not good at estimating performance, but should I get good performance on BF3 ?

My System Specs


Not on high settings. A friend of mine as a 560 TI and a 2500k and he is able to play, although with tessellation disengaged(if he doesnt gets really low fps). Plus his 560 ti has to have the fans on full or else he will crash...

It really depends on how much eye candy you want. The gtx 560 ti is a really good card at stock, even more when overclocked. Your question is specific to BF3, and i don't play this game, but i know my gtx 460 768mb can play skyrim at high settings at 1920*1080, so your gpu, who's more powerful than mine, should do a great job with BF3. Just don't expect stratospheric FPS!

Remember that quality settings sets too high for a given gpu can turn a great game into a sluggish slide show...

i play BF3 on a i5 2500 stock clocks, evga gtx 560 and i run all maxed out with around 50-60fps.. ?
Intel i7 3930K / 16GB Corsair Vengence DDR3-2400
