You don't need a high end cooler to cool at high o/c on a 2500K. CM hyper 212+.. $30.

I run Asrock extreme gen 3.~$155. But as DMC says PRo3 is a great board too and even cheaper.

OP.. where are you from?

If you really intend to OC, go for a Z68 mobo. Asrock Z68 Pro3 is at a good price/functions mobo :D

Why go z68 over p67 for oc?

From what I gather the p67 is, if anything, slightly better at ocing.

I have nothing against suggesting a z68 board BUT not on mis-information (that is: "if your going to oc get z68") when what he has selected is perfectly suited for overclocking.

Note to OP. any P67 or Z68 board will allow you to oc. buy whichever one gives you the features you need.
Having said that, just because a board scores higher in a bench at ocing than another, doesn't really mean that you will see the difference in game / general usage.
What I'm getting at is:
You should select any board which has the features you want as long as there isn't anything blatantly bad about it
(general faults that are extremely common or bad layout, restrictions on anything like x4 on second PCI-E lane)
but you don't need to spend a fortune on "the best" board either as you'll never see the difference unless your benching or going for max OC for kicks. (and you wouldn't be asking us if you were)
