Will my pc bottleneck? Pls help
i'm planning to build a new rig.
these are my specs:

intel core i7 2600k Processor
2x gtx 570 in sli
asus maximus iv extreme motherboard
gigabyte odin pro 800w power supply
corsair 8gb (2x4g) RAM

Do you think it will bottleneck? i'm just a beginner in terms of pc building.

Bottleneck for what? Gaming?

Thats a good foundation to build on for gaming. If your gaming, what resolutions will you be playing at?

Although id change the PS to something like XFX, Corsair, Seasonic.

Yes! its for gaming and I think I will be playing at 1920x1200. Would it be enough?
What's with the xfx, corsair, and seasonic PS? Are they better than gigabyte?

Looks good. I would also change the power supply. Yes the above mentioned brands are better.

That will be great for playing games at 1920x1200. You could even save $100 and go for an i5-2500K. Hyperthreading doesn't really make much of a difference at all in games. You could use that money towards a really nice CPU cooler so you could overclock it and get even more performance. Also, I would say get MSI twin frozr GTX 570's, they are built well, have better coolers, and are quieter than reference designs.

all the above suggestions, A good power supply would be an antec TP gold, HX750-850

+1 on a better psu. Also as the above poster suggested get the MSI card. They have a rma centre in ontario so if anything were to happen with the card getting it replaced would be much easier and cheaper than with other companies
