New..ISH build... sort of.

So I've currently got the following;
Intel E5400 @ 3.2ghz
4GB Dual Channel DDR2 @ 800mhz
ATI HD 5770
320GB WD SATA2 Boot drive
500GB WD SATA2 Storage
19" Wide Asus LCD 1440x900 native res.

I'd like to beef it up a bit but I'm not a big spender when it comes to PCs. I buy most my parts used honestly. Usually in trades. lol

I was thinking about trying to find myself a proper ATX board instead of this mATX and a Quad core of some sort but all of which would be s775. Reasoning? I've got a boat load of QUALITY DDR2 already and honestly 1155 boards and chips are WAY too much for my liking.

Or should I just replace the gpu? I'm trying to keep the upgrade as LOW as possible.

And the reason for the upgrade? Well the only newer game I play at the moment is swtor and this system on max only does 30fps.

Anyone have anything used laying around that fits the bills?

if you're on a budget, I would say save it and work on getting an 1155 CPU and mobo. what you have it getting pretty close to EOL or already is.

I'm not worried about it being EOL. just it running. I have an FX55 running in my server.

Thats why I say if anyone has some old "junk" like a Q6600 I'd happily take it.

might want to slap a 9800GX2 or a GTX260 216 or even a 460GTX

I'm really open to any upgrades, its more of a WTB thread than anything because I cant post in there.

But I do appreciate any advice that could be given on WHAT i should upgrade.

Find a 775 socket quad used for cheap (q6600's going for $60 shipped)
And I would grab either a GTX460, or a 550Ti and call er good for a couple more years.
