My System Specs

Question what will intel be staying with

Hey

Does any one know if intel will be sticking with lga 2011 or 1155 i know ivy bridge is going to be 1155 im building soon and i will upgrade the cpu in the future but i dont kno what sockt they will be stiking with
any help would great

with intel tick tock method of manufacturing they won't be sticking with any socket for that long from what the past few years has shown us

Well, LGA 1155 or 2011 WILL make you happy, I have not seen anyone complain that they're system is slow when they have one of those.. I'm still running an AM2+ system. It's fast sure, but not that fast. (I have no problems with my current system. I can run any game I choose. Video encoding is another story.)

I'll probably upgrade to 1155 or 2011 in the summer. Haswell is coming out in 2013, but oh well it'd be weird for those cpu's to out-do LGA 2011

People actually upgrade CPU's????? With CPU + board being less than most CPU's were selling for alone just a few years ago, it doesn't make a lot of sense to buy a board with the view towards being able to upgrade on it for the next 5 years...
