need help on ram

Hi,

Could people please suggest 8gb ram kits that are not triple channel for under $100 AUD or which ones to avoid.
I also appreciate some reasoning.

Corsair Vengeance CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3
Which is for 55 AUD

It depends on the specs of your rig. If it is a rig that you are going to do some overclocking with then it is a worth investment to spend on higher performing RAM. If your rig has no overclocking potential at all (locked) then Value RAMs works just fine. However, if you're looking for some substantial performance boost from upgrading your RAM then steer away because the difference is little at best.

I would go with the low profile Vengeance over the normal stuff. Cools just the same, and a lot more cpu cooler friendly.

i suggest you stay away from corsair
if you get unlucky n get rev:8.16 you gonna have problems
