Default Requesting Assistance! :D

Hey guys, sorry I'm sure this is probably in the wrong section, possibly this site might not even have a section for this and if that's the case please move/delete it, sorry.

I was wondering what's the best possible gaming desktop you guys can build for 600$ Max. I know that isn't very much but I have a 2 year old laptop that just isn't cutting it anymore.

Couple notes:

- It doesn't have to look good/sound good whatever, it just has to perform the best it can for 600$.

- I don't need a keyboard, mouse or any other kind of accessory.

- I am Canadian and I live in the northwest territories and shipping from newegg and some other companies is to much, so I prefer if you build at NCIX or any other site that ships for cheap/free.

Thanks for reading guys, and to anyone who takes the time to build one for me I really appreciate it!

Hm, consider a Sandy Bridge i5, 8GB RAM,560ti or HD 6950, and a good PSU (Corsair, Silverstone, etc.). All other parts, you can get cheapest possible.

You are gng to hae a hard time getting a half decent gamein desktop fo that kind of budget the $600 would mostly be taken up by yot cpu, gpu, case and mobo then you needto get ram and storage, lso may need to get the os if yo dont already have it and its not cheap youre most likely goning to have to spend more asthe newer games coming need higher specs and if you get a superlow budget pc you may be able ru just not very well at all

Buy a second hand box... great saving on reasonable hardware (looking at i7920 and 5850 ish) bout a 2 year old rig but is still more than capable. might have to stretch a lil on that actually. but you get the picture.

You can build a gaming rig for $600 ish as long as that does not include windows or a monitor. Quickly did a build from NCIX sales (you could do better with price match/shopping around.

NCIX.com - Buy Intel Core i3 2100 Dual Core Hyperthreading Processor LGA1155 3.1GHZ Sandy Bridge 3MB - Intel - BX80623I32100 - in Canada

NCIX.com - Buy Samsung SH-222AL 22X DVD Writer SATA Lightscribe OEM - Others - SH-222AL/BEBE - in Canada

NCIX.com - Buy Kingston HyperX KHX1600C9D3K2/8GX 8GB 2X4GB DDR3-1600 XMP Dual Channel Memory Kit - Kingston - KHX1600C9D3K2/8GX - in Canada

NCIX.com - Buy Corsair Builder Series CMPSU-600CXV2 600W ATX Power Supply Active PFC 120MM Fan *3 Year Wrty* - Corsair - CMPSU-600CXV2 - in Canada

NCIX.com - Buy Powercolor Radeon HD 6850 775MHZ 1GB 4.0GHZ GDDR5 2XDVI DisplayPort HDMI PCI-E Video Card - PowerColor - AX6850 1GBD5-DH - in Canada

NCIX.com - Buy Coolermaster Elite 370 Black Mid Tower ATX Case 3X5.25 1X3.5 5X3.5INT No PS - COOLERMASTER - RC-370-KKN1 - in Canada

NCIX.com - Buy ASUS P8H67-M PRO/CSM REV3.0 H67 mATX LGA1155 2PCI-E16 2PCI HDMI DVI Sandy Bridge B3 Motherboard - ASUS - P8H67-M PRO/CSM REV 3.0 - in Canada

$509 +tax and shipping

The problem is that does not include a hard drive, since they are ridiculously priced right now.Couldn't find a budget one on ncix. build a computer similar to this, but shop around and price match and you should get it around $600.If you need a monitor/windows just say so, but then your going to take some huge hits on what gaming the computer can do.
Desktop: Arc Midi R2, Z77-D3H, 3770@4.1ghz with Zalman Optima Cooler, 4x4gb ram, EVGA GTX 1070 Ti SC, Bitfenix Fury 750w, WD Black 1TB, Intel 530 120GB
Away from home light Gamer: Acer Aspire 15.6", A8-3500m undervolt and OC to 2Ghz, 2x4gb Corsair Vengeance, Crucial M500 240gb
