New PC build suggestions please......

Hello to all of my northern nieghbors,
This site was suggested to me by Linus from Linus techtips so here I am. I have ordered a new computer before fully reserching LOL story of my life but it is a bit more choatic that way LOL. I ordered thru Cyberpower and I am hoping for the best but here is what I ordered and I ask you for any suggetions or tips you might have. This rig is for gaming and from now on all computer building and upgradeing will be done by me personally gawd help my rig !!!

So here is the build:

Coolermaster HAF X case
Gigabyte G-1 gurrilla X-58 motherboard
Intel 960 proccesor overclocked 20%
12 gb Corsiar XSM 1600 ghz ram
Nvida GTX 570 HD 2.5 gb gpu
1000w Silent Pro power supply
1 tb 7200 6gbs hard drive
240mm water cooler system
blueray-dvd combo player
12 in 1 card reader

I do plan to get a 120gb SSD immidiately and there is a chance the power supply will be upgraded to a 1200w silent pro gold before they ship it. The reason for all the power is I plan to add another gtx 570 hd and run them SLI.Next winter 2012 I plan on going to a intel 3960 chip and new mother board and a 3rd 570hd.Any tips or suggestions would be helpful and appritiated I will post pics of the rig when I get it.

It all looks good to me, but in all honesty if I was building a new Rig now, particularly a Rig running Multi GPU, I would have gone straight to a new X79 platform.
Other than that, your Rig looks great, my tastes would have gone with a either an Evga Classy 3 or Asusu Rampage Mobo and 2x GTX 580's,

Enjoy your new Rig, now get yourself a decent monitor to go with that bad boy!!!

Yup, you're within a very small $ difference of going X79 now, I would be in the same camp saying just do it now. X58 is 3 year old tech at this point, though still very good tech.

Thank you sirs I will try to get a decent monitor the bargining has just begun with the wifey LOL . I saw that the x79 would have been better after I made the deal LOL my usual mode of opperation LOL.

^^^ No sweat, will still be a great System...if you can try and find a 24" monitor with Res 1920 1200 minimum....1920 x 1080 will be tempting as they are cheap n numerous, but you'll get nicer results with the other....even going to 2560x1440/1600, but that gets even more pricey ;)

Well if you have a plan we can talk my wife into it we can go pricey LOL I have seen some nice 3 monitor setups but Im a bit afraid of trying to setup 3 monitors.

i wouldnt use x58 LOL, i'd get a 2500k with a z68/p67 board LOL because its alot cheaper because you are mainly using it for gaming the 2500k would be great LOL

Unfortunatly the build I have is paid for and being assembled :( But I do have a request for any ideas for bling on the front of the case I have 2 5.25 bays to fill with flashing lights and numbers :) LOL I cant help it but suggestions would help alot.
