Brand pref for EVGA I assume?

Have you considered X79? That will give best perf for 2x GTX 580. It is also more expensive however, Probably a bit over $900 for CPU and MB alone.

What is your budget?

i dont really care what motherboard as i want to game and overclock ect
Im looking at around 2-6k to spend on this

Honestly...I wouldn't waste any time on a PhysX Card...not worth it at all imo.

With that kinda of budget why stuff all that goodness into a HAF X? Get some full aluminum goodness from Lian Li or the like and let it breathe proper. Also x79 for sure, let those 580s stretch their legs.

X79 FTW!!!! if you have the money then go for it. i'd go for the asus rampage though if i ever got an x79 setup....... "IF" that IF means never but yea if you got the money go for it i mean theres people who are rocking x58 since day one dont hesitate. and yea go for a lan-Li much better for that kind of setup imho.
