If you're going with that budget, go X79. It's ridiculous that you'd spend the same for 3 year old tech. The X79 uses essentially the same cpu, with more cores, as P67/Z68, the benefits being more PCI lanes and 4 channel memory instead of 2 - as noted above me, you can get a lightning fast system for $5-700 less if you go 2500K/2600K. But unlimited budget, heck yes 3930.

What will you be using this computer for? IMO go through NCIX on a nice2500k/2600k build unless you need the extra cores. That said if you have to pick one of those builds it would be x79 hands down. Also agree with dropping the velociraptor.

I wanted to buy it there for a reason of insurance.. long story short. I bought a build in march last year from them and received it and everything. But one day i came back home and some one broke in my house and stold a lot of my stuff including my PC. So my biggest fear is that if i buy from NCIX they wont pay back completely... Maybe someone can answer me on that question as well. I live in Canada, Quebec if anyone wants to know.

But for sure i will go check to buy it on NCIX... And ill call my insurance company and ask them if it matters where i buy it.

Thank you for your help people but i am still needing some help!

So just to be clear, should i go with the asus rampage extreme 4 or the p9x79 deluxe?

You need to talk to your insurance company. But my past experience has been that they don't care, they just want a quote from *whoever* on the replacement, then will approve the purchase, assuming it's in line with your policy's payout.

Alright, can you help me build a PC on the NCIX website and send me the link? That would be greatly apreciated!

For the same amount of $$ you should definitely be going with X79. There is no reason to build a prev gen machine whatsoever.

No, I'm at least as lazy as you are if not lazier.

I would seriously consider buying the parts from NCIX, and having them build it for you. I had a friend buy a pc from ibuypower last year, and he got a bad memory stick. Took alot of time and effort to get them to send him a replacement. The cable management was non existent, he got a UD2 board, and sub par psu. With NCIX you will be able to get proper components and you know it will be built well.

*When are you looking to buy this? PM me and I can select the parts you want and price match them then send ya the link. Wouldn't you like to try build a beast of a system like this yourself?
