at 1440x900 a 6970 is overkill, drop down too a 6950 or gtx560ti.
other then that, looks good too me.

6970 isn't overkill for that resolution, its actually just right if you want to play on ultra, personally I recommend a step down on CPU cooler maybe a CM 212+ and get a better case, it will make your GPU and CPU run cooler. A cool GPU is a higher overclocked GPU = better frame rates.

I'd drop to like a solid 650W psu, like the antec high current gamer or new ocz ZT series. HX 850 is a bit old in the teeth now and you don't need 850 watts for your system. I'd take the money you save and put it into a better case, the 300 sucks to work in. Check out the Fractal Design Core 3000 or Bitfenix Shinobi.

Take the Cooler Master Haf 912. 10$ more but it have better cooling option than the 300.

On average, AMD cards get lower framerates than their NVIDIA counterparts in BF3. Particularly when MSAA is enabled.

If it was my build I would drop the cooler to a cheaper air cooler (probably a hyper 212), swap the video card to a gtx 570, drop to the 650w version of the PSU, and use the saved money to buy a 23-24 inch 1920x1080 (HD) monitor.
