Can't speak for the motherboard since I'm an Intel guy, but I have a GTX 560 Ti, and it's an amazing card for the price.

I have the UD7, had the UD5 for 2 days and took it back due to PCI-Express spacing. Both of them were good quality boards. The lack of a true UEFI bios is a bit annoying, but I'd still recommend them.

The only downside I see is that 990FX is made for buldozer and buldozer is kind of an underperformer so far.

I also run SLId 560Tis and I would call them kick ass for the price.

Yeah, the gigabyte stuff is pretty good quality. The UD3 line is prone to a bit of bad QC at times, but you can RMA it if needed (although that sucks and costs $$ for shipping). Was pretty impressed by my gigabyte GTX cards I've owned in the past.
