As far as the mobo you will have to see what others say or decide if you want those features. I have zero z68 experience as I am still rocking 1366

Later m8!
Cool Thanks :)

Anyone can advice me for the mobo?

Oh and i have another question! I am thinking of getting the Corsair Vengeance 1600mhz C9 9-9-9-24 1.5v 8GB kit and was wondering if i would see any benifit from going 16GB over 8GB. Would it be overkill?

Thanks

You probably wouldn't see much benefit unless you are doing some crazy, multi-tasking. on the other hand memory is cheap and there really is no reason to go with less than 16gb if you can fit it in your budget.

Make sure the Vengeance are low-profile.

Good luck with the build.

To answer one of your previous (and many lol) questions, The Deluxe is the top performing motherboard in Z68, and it would be the first thing I would chose if my main priority was overclocking the CPU.

Bah, It's too late already. I placed my order. I had a few reads about it and considering the rig would already cost me a lot, i decided that I'd be fine with the Pro ;) Thanks anyway!

A few updates!

I received all my stuff! First Impression : droooooooling Heh

But then the problems started... Ram heatspreaders are too high. I can only fit one RAM stick in the last RAM slot...They simply don't fit under the CPU cooler. So i need to get a refund on that Corsair Vengeance kit. I found a 16GB Low profile version of that RAM on NCIX.com but in 16GB... So I guess i will be going 16GB afterall!

Another thing, I decided to go BIG. I chose the Asus DirectCU II 580GTX and OMFG! This thing is a Monster! And so is that Nuctua NHD14 CPU cooler! Waow, just WOAW!

So far, I'm still waiting on the MX-2 compound i have purchased and that new 16GB Corsair Vengeance low profile kit. Then it's OC time! :D

BTW: I can't beleive how the computer is SILENT! It's amayzing! Oh and how and FAST it is to boot and install stuff! Hah I just can't think that I almost didn't got a SSD! I'm really impressed!

Can't wait to start Gaming! :) I really missed it!

Congrats! I bet you're surprised how fast the sytem is even with 4GB of RAM!
1) You didn't take my advice on the RAM :( sad
2) You didn't take my advice on the cards! :) happy (I have been reading up on the newest games' benchmarks and as Sky mentioned in another thread, AMD's drivers are a nightmare to deal with, even though I stand by my recommendation that the HD6970 in CF is a better setup than the GTX580 in SLI in bang/buck and bang/watt, and I am optimistic that the newest games will perform better on AMD with due time)
3) How are the parts fitting with the 690II? You reckon another GTX580 DCUII can fit?
4) Would you post some pictures?
