Well,

Since Bulldozer got stuck in the mud. I am going with an Intel upgrade (should have did it awhile ago).

Check out my System info to see what I have. I am just changing out the Motherboard, CPU, CPU cooler and RAM. Keeping the rest.

I am picking the ASUS Maximus IV Z68:
ASUS Maximus IV GENE-Z Z68 LGA1155 mATX 2PCI-E16 1PCI-E4 SLI CrossFire HDMI USB3.0 SATA3 Motherboard - DirectCanada

Intel i5 2500K:
Intel Core i5 2500K Quad Core Unlocked Processor LGA1155 3.3GHZ Sandy Bridge 6MB - DirectCanada

I already have the G.Skill RIPJAWS 2 x 4 gig DDR3-1600 ram kit.

Cooler is the Coolmaster V6GT:
Coolermaster V6GT CPU Heatsink Cooler LGA1155 LGA1156 LGA1366 AM3 2x 120MM PWM Fans 800-2200RPM - DirectCanada

What do you guys think. I am going to upgrade the card hopefully to the new AMD 7950 next year. And might add a SSD at a later date!!!

I don't see a problem at all, if you have the coin to do it then I would. Looks like a good combo. I love the cooler,

The V6GT won't fit in the Antec 900 AFAIK - I could be wrong. The cooler is 165mm tall and IIRC the 900 only has ~162mm of clearance.

Otherwise I'm pretty sure that's the best deal you can get from Halifax.

Or get an H80. I never owned that Antec case so I wouldn't know 100%.

I currently have the Zalman CNPS10X Quiet CPU Cooler 120MM PWM Low Noise Fan LGA1156 LGA1155 LGA1366 775 AM3 754 939 940 - DirectCanada Would this still be a good cooler for O/C'ing with?

I'm actually going to add a 120 mm fan to the side of the case to give it a better flow. I didn't know you could that till now. I was checking it out. Should increase flow pretty nicely.

I would also suggest a new case, I had a 900 and my HAF932 is way better, and it also has the fan on the side.... top, front, back as well
