My System Specs

Default

Your programs should take advantage of the best processor budget can allow. For that reason I would recommend 2600 or 2600k if you OC. If you want to save a few $ back that down to a 2400or 2500k if you OC. Any cheap current gen GPU will support your resolution, so just price shop when ordering. 2x4GB of whatever ram you prefer. PSU could be any 380w or greater PSU. Any decent Seasonic, Corsair, or Antec will do the job nicely (the Antec cases that come bundled with PSU are nice PSU if you choose one of those cases). Z68 boards would be my preference, but if money is a factor and you will not OC then consider dropping down to a H67 board with your choice of outputs (ASUS and Gigabyte are my 2 first choices). Sorry I don't have time to take a look for specific choices right now, but the processor/PSU were the main points I wanted to get across.
