New Build / what video card to buy

I need some help picking out item’s to finish my new build...

Item’s I will need

Video card
Samsung 24" Monitor
Triple Monitor Stand

Right now, this is what I have

4 22" Monitors 1680x1050
Ergotron Ds 100 Quad Stand
1 55" 1080P LED TV


My monitors are ageing so soon I'm going to buy 3 new Samsung 24" and will get rid of all the 22"s, I’ll be keeping the T.V.

Computer will be used primarily as a superfast workstation, Wedding Photography, Video Editing & encoding, Main Program Adobe CS5, T.V. will be connected to demo 1080P projects,

So what's the solution for me?

Budget, look at my system spec’s so far for a good price range

If you are video editing and encoding I recommend i7 2600k, after that for 1080p playback you really don''t even need a graphics card. I'm not a professional on graphics so I will let someone else answer about what you should put in there.

I would say get something in the 6950/6970 area, considering you already have a strong set up. I'm running the 6970 right now with 3x monitors, had a 4th one for a bit but didn't really have any use for it so I removed it. The 2GB buffer on these cards will definately help and prevent some serious screen tearing.

That being said, you will need an active mini displayPort adaptor for monitors #3 and up (unless they fixed this?)
