I did have 2 same configuration. One with a SOlid 3 and one with a Vertex 2.

My solid 3 was doing alot of BSOD and die 3 month after the purchase. Then i RMA it and since the new one, everything is going great. MY Vertex 2 still going great.

Something funny, when i check with SSD Life both of my SSD, my lifespan of both SSD are the same. Btoh are for april or may 2019 and i using my vertex for more then 1 year 1/2. strange no ?

Well, now that you guys got my significantly worried about the Vertex 3, I guess I need to look elsewhere for my SSD storage solution. Shame I missed out on the Crucial M4 120gb @ NCIX for 170..Now, is it all sandforces that are BSODing (some have said yes, others no) or just the Vertex's? The Intel 510 puts me over my budget, and the Crucial M4 seems rather slow for a sata 3 drive.
Just going to go with the Crucial M4..I mean, with the 0009 firmware it isn't that slow. Plus it isn't sandforce. So, I suppose that should help things out a bit in the reliability factor. I really don't think I will notice a performance difference between the two at this point as I am coming off a mechanical drive lol.

Edit: Order placed w/ the M4 for 179...cheaper then the Vertex 3, which helped the decision out a little lol. $1,750 to the door if all my Price Matches at NCIX are approved. Slightly more then I had initially planned to spend. Also changed PSU's to the Silverstone Strider 850 Gold. Cheaper then the corsair HX I had planned, and it is Gold cert with great reviews.

The crucial M4 recently got a firmware update that gave it a good speed boost and are now pretty good.
