It should burry my current Q6600. Right?

Basically what I'm doing is, I'm taking my 775 setup out of the case, and putting an i5 setup. So no need to buy a case, hard drive(s), psu and all that fun stuff.

A GTX 260 core 216 will be my gpu until I can refill the computer funds account.

What do you think?

Yes that's a sick system and they overclock like crazy. You will destroy and then burn the q6600 performance up and then thank yourself for getting the 2500K. Check this below, and this is stock only:

I would also however recommend a decent cpu cooler if you are going to be overclocking it, other than stock cooler, which I happen to be selling cheap, Titan Fenrir!

Should be fine but I personally wouldn't OC until you have a better PSU.

I like to go with the addage you should run your PSU at 60% or less to make it last the longest. Thats when the rest of your system is at 100%.

Then you're the right person to ask the following question...
What are you idle and load temps accross the cores?
Just so I know if I'm in the ballpark when I put this thing together.

It's shipped express, so hopefuly I'll have it running tomorrow night.
