My choice for Tri SLI would be the Asus P67 WS Revolution, best price. Second choice would be ASrock Extreme7, best layout, then the Asus ROG boards, best overclocking.
Stick to GTX580 3GB or any AMD 6900 series.

It's just me but I would get Asus P67 WS Revolution $255 + (3 Sapphire Radeon 6950 Toxics $270 =810) = $1065

Stick to aircooling with Noctua NH-D14.

Luay79,

Thanks for the input. A bit late now though . I've paid for all the parts already just waiting for them to arrive.

However, I did consider getting GTX580 3gb, but to stay under my budget I had to "settle" for 1,5gb version.

Is there any reason why you would choose P67 rather than a Z68 ?

Looks sexy! She will make you proud.

I'm not interested in integrated graphics. I have a laptop for light stuff, so desktop will always be for the heavy stuff and games. I already have a dedicated SSD 60GB and installed the complete OS on it and use what's left for the games I play. I'm also interested in investing more in SSD (Agility3 240GB or M4 256GB, first one to go below $300). If your profile matches mine, you probably have no use for the 2 things Z68 has over P67. Both platforms are identical in everything else except P67 is cheaper.

Suggest you flip your PSU.. your dumping the hot air from the graphics card straight into it's intake.
I believe that case has vent on both the bottom and back for doing this?

Just be sure to clean the filter reasonably often.

True.. I see your point.

Sometime in the future I will add mechanical hdd to the system then probably grab another SSD for ssd caching though..
