Quick SSD question. I was looking at this drive : NCIX.com - Buy Corsair Force Series 60GB 2.5IN SATA2 25nm Solid State Disk Flash Drive SSD Sandforce *3 Year Wrty* - Corsair - CSSD-F60GB2-BRKT-A - in Canada or the OCZ equivalent. If the motherboard supported it can SSD drives be used in RAID arrays as well and gain performance? For instance could I use 2 of those drives and end up with a 120g really fast boot and apps drive? Then use my 2TB black for media?

Yes but that would be a bit of an over kill. Do you really how care if your pc boots up a few seconds longer? For SSD read AKG's reviews, he knows anything and everything you need to know about ssd's.

It might be overkill, but it is basically the same price as the 120gigs at the moment. Where do I find the reviews by AKG?

Raiding two 60GB SSDs is like crossfiring two gpus, but only gaining 3-12% performance, why not just go with the single one. Sure for constant transferring of files it makes a big difference, but you are talking about an OS drive.

Raid works good for servers because they are being accessed a lot, or for big files.

OK guys so I am going to order within the next couple of days. This is what I was thinking

Intel 2500k
ASUS P8-z68-v pro
Mushkin blackline Mod 996995 (2x4gb) - NCIX.com - Buy Mushkin Enhanced Blackline Frostbyte PC3-12800 8GB 2X4GB DDR3-1600 9-9-9-24 1.5V Dual Channel Memory - Mushkin Enhanced - 996995 - in Canada
Noctua ND-D14
Mushkin chronos 120gb
WD Caviar Black 1tb.

Total is going to be around 900ish.

Am I making any bad choices?

Phad.

I am far from an expert, but there isn't anything there I would change.

Yeah I ran the 2x4gb kit for a few weeks in my p67, never had a chance to clock them though, they are now in a htpc.

Looks like a nice build.

Yip the lanyard still is included and there is a hat with the SSD. I am wondering if it might be worth it for me to still use my z600 to cool and spend the money I will save not buying the noctua to get a 2600k? Is that a wise choice?
