G.SKILL Ripjaws X F3 (2x4Gb) $50.81
G.SKILL Ripjaws X F3-12800CL9D-8GBXL 8GB 2X4GB DDR3-1600 CL9-9-9-24 Memory - DirectCanada

Coolermaster Haf 922 $97.75
Coolermaster Haf 922 Mid Tower ATX Case Black 5X5.25 5X3.5INT Front Audio USB eSATA No PSU - DirectCanada

Antec High Current Gamer 750W $92.54

Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 500GB $36.69
Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 500GB 3.5IN Sata 6GB/S With Ncq Internal Hard Drive Oem - DirectCanada

LG Internal DVD Writer/ Burner $19.69
LG GH24NS70 24X SATA Internal DVD Writer Burner DVDRW Optical Drive Black OEM - DirectCanada

Total: $970.10 after HST and shipping insurance, minus $30 MIR (so $940.10)

If anyone has any ideas on a better build for around the same price (hopefully cheaper haha), I would love the input!

Thanks in advance.

Looks good to me, although the PSU is a little lacking.

If he is only running the one video card, that Antec should be sufficient though.

One day I may OC and/or SLI, so if you had any suggestions on a PSU that would better suit that, I am happy to listen.

I was talking about the efficiency.

That looks good to me, would it be able to handle two 560's at a later date?

the xfx 750 should in theory be able to handle 2 560s but just to have that extra headroom (to keep psu noise/heat/efficiency in check) i would step up to the 850 equivalent for 2....

just overclocking shouldnt be a problem as even a 650 is enough for that build!

lets see

912 for case

way overkill psu.

get a 60-120gb ssd perhaps for os? add a 2tb green from wd for storage lately?

if not get a sammy f3 or a wd black 500 giger for os.

yes,no problem for dual cards later on./

two 560's will pull maybe 325 on the 12v rail,up to 400 or more if oc'ed or furmarked :)

Haha, and now I have differing opinions on the PSU... the xfx is only ~$20 more, and its semi modular, so unless you are saying I dont need a 750w at all I am okay paying for that
