You trying to stick to a particular budget? Any change to your video card change that I would suggest would likely be double the price of the one you suggested. On another note, you could always get the one you were looking at, then upgrade a little later on after you had the chance to put some money away for it.

what's your budget on video card? I'd suggest a GTX 460, or 6850

Hello and welcome southbay!
I'm having trouble recommending things as well, because you haven't put enough information about what kind of computer you're trying to build.
See: NOTICE - PC builders, when asking for input on YOUR projects Please Tell

In particular:
What is your budget?
What will you use the computer for?
Which retailers do you plan to go through to buy parts? I don't know that much about how it is in the UK, but here in Canada there are retailers with much better prices than Amazon on average.

With the parts you selected, I assume you are trying to go for a low-end PC for extremely light gaming with multimedia playback (as an outdated Core i3 and GT 440 video card won't give you much more than that), and you aren't looking to horde videos or encode (from your choice of a basic hard drive).
If you are looking for that kind of computer, a 750W power supply will be a waste of both money and power (because a power supply is usually most efficient at around 50% of its load). A low-end computer like that will draw less than / about 60W for CPU and maybe 80W for GPU, and 30W for everything else for a total of 170W at full load. A good 300W supply will be fine for you provided it has the connectors that you want and cables that are long enough to get to where you'll be mounting all the components.

I decided to go for a 600w power supply then spend £95 on another graphics card. All I need it to do is run BattleField 3 when it's released so this should do the job. :)

600 W is plenty for a single gpu solution. What card did you go for?

Novatech GeForce GTS 450 OC 1024MB GDDR5 PCIe

I really didn't have the budget to go any higher as I'm building this for a friend :)
