New gaming build
I am putting together a gaming build for a friend.
His budget is around 1k-1.5k.

looks good. go 2tb green for storage instead.

and the haf 912

Nxt38 August 7, 2011 08:42 PM

I am getting the 690II for 65$
explain the advantage over the 690II please.
and for the storage I heard the caching performance is also capped by the performance of the HDD itself.

_dangtx_ August 7, 2011 09:15 PM

better built? at least seems more solid to me.
ok on the hdd.

Nxt38 August 7, 2011 09:43 PM

I will stick with the 690II
well I think the cm 690II has better finish and can match all of the things haf can offer... and it's only 6 dollars more to fork out in my case.
not to mention haf looks like an abomination.

kinda bummed out that we missed the Gigabyte Z68X-UD4-B3 at 139.99...
it would've been perfect.

will do!
can anyone recommend me some fans for the case as well as the cpu cooler on push pull?

Noctua 1300 or sytche 1900 (which RPM you prefer) for the cpu, Enermax makes very nice case fans.
