Exclamation Views on my 500 Budget for a Gaming/All-round PC

http://www.dabs.com/products/gigabyte-am3-amd-870-ddr3-atx-6ZXJ.html?utm_source= - Pastebin.com

Here is my notes for my build, just thinking if anyone thought it was good?
I want to be playing games like COD:BlackOps, COD:MW2, Counter Strike Source and Battelfield 3 when it comes out.

And the usual things, web browsing, emails, and maybe the odd bit off image editing here and there.

Thanks in advance for your views (:

-Jack

can you post the choices here?

try an i3 2100 1155 or 540 1156 if you want to clock it.

You said about the Intel processors, i think that im going to be staying with AMD, as this is still my first build, and would like to keep near enough to a 500 budget

NOT the se.

gtx(not se) is miles better

ok so you buying in the states?

shipping? youre gonna get screwed with 30 percent vat or something

the only thing that wil happen is the psu will either switch itself to 220

or you will dial it in the back if there is a place. better not,as thats one easy way to

smoke the lot.

But the GTX 460 SE, is that better than the GTS450 ?

You might want to think about something larger than a 250 GB hard drive, maybe a 500 GB or even a 1 TB if you can find for a decent price.

I'd go for a 460 over a 450, and i just bought a 500GB HDD for $35 CAD, so probably around 25
