Default Need opinion on first build before I order..

So I decided to take (Dangtx) advice and order a new system instead of dumping money into my q6600 build. This is my first full build and was wondering what you guys thought. I am saving for my winter vacation so I have allowed myself a $1000 budget. I mostly play mmos, and the odd shooter. Really want this for upcoming Tera and GW2 .

Specs:

Processor: Intel i5 2500K 3.30GHz w/ 6MB Cache
Mobo: Asus P8P67-M Rev 3.0
Mem: Kingston HyperX Genesis 4gb 1600mhz ddr3
HD: Western Digital 1TB Caviar Black 7200rpm w/ 64mb
GPU: Asus ENGTX 460 1GB
500w psu
OS: Windows 7 x64
Optical: LG DVD/BR RW

Any help would be great, I have never done this before so I am not sure if I am missing anything or putting things together that will run good together.

Thanks!

The only issue I have with this build is the psu. I can't figure out who the OEM for their power supplies are. This is definitely one place you do not want to go budget on. You might want to consider a 500w unit from Seasonic or Corsair.

what perryC said, otherwise maybe look at newer gen GPU unless you are getting a rly good deal for a 460 (see under 130$ if SE or about 140-150$ for original 1GB cards).

I'd suggest going to NCIX on a week they offer free/cheap shipping and just pricematch everything you can (if you already know the drill good/otherwise ask).

good luck with the build and hope to see you in GW2!

500 Watts is good enough, just don't cheap out too much on the PSU.

The one Larkstarr linked will work fine, unless you decide to add a second video card then you will want to get as more powerful one. If that is something you are never going to do then that Corsair 500w will provide more than enough juice for you.
