New build (not complete yet)

so i finally partially built my new rig after months of postponing it...here it is http://img714.imageshack.us/img714/7995/imag0311g.jpg

stats:

i5 2500k

evga gtx 570

asus sabertooth p67

antec 750w PS

2x2gigs of corsair ram (from my old build clocked at 1333mhz)

later this week im gonna be picking up an ssd (can anyone recommend 1 since i know jack squat about HD's) and a new cpu heatsink (any recommendations).

the case is still unknown. i kind of want to keep the naked look but im not sure. The cases ive been eyeing r the cooler master stormscout and the antec skeleton

thx and peace

well i cant help you you with HD's since im in the same boat pretty much there but i will recommend the coolermaster v6 gt, i love mine to death my phenom that was at 3.6 with 1.45v ( yea i figured out thats a little to much voltage ) now i have a dying cpu and mobo  i should say it kept it at 41c max, but any way i also have a storm scout and i love it for the most part BUT and this is big BUT, you cant fit a 69XX series card in them or any card over 10 3/4 inches. and you really need to replace the stock fans. im running cm blade master 120's and they made a world of difference my temps dropped at least 8c. but a 570 will fit so youll be good to go:thumb:

cpu heatsink wise, either a cm212+ or an hr-02

for ssd, wait on ak to bring down his judgement upon it

and..never ever let the psu run liek that. anything goes inside...puff the magic dragon

put it on the side

Very similar to my new build! I put it inside a Corsair 600t Graphite white edition. I've got the EVGA V6 GT cooler in the mail as we speak so i'll know how it fits. Biggest concern will be the heatsinks on my memory(corsair vengeance). Also have a 50mm fan coming for the assistant fan slot to cool the parts under the armor down. Can't help on the HD though, i just use standard ones. How do you like your EVGA GTX 570 HD? OC"d at all?

very nice case indeed...kinda reminds me of stormtrooper armor lol, i havent oc'd the card yet since i rele dont need to now. Im playing the witcher 2 on max @ 40-50fps which is imo very playable for a single player game, and bfbc2 on max with HBAO on and its runnin at like 70 fps, without HBAO it shoots above 100

im very happy with this build, and i absolutely love the mobo's armor look :thumb:
