Wuttup! I have a 1000$ budget for a new build, put it together with a friend, wanted a little feedback as to whether im making a big mistake with any of our choices or not. Any missing component i already have;) thanks. Any suggestions good sirs/madame's?

forget about quad core X58!! head over to P67 (u could get the P67 sabertooth) along with a 2500k and dual channel memory! it will be cheaper and perform better under OC! and while ur at it spool up an extra 10$ for the noctua NH-D14!

wouldn't be cheaper to get 2 GTX 460 in SLI? they have the one from Asus with a pretty nice MIR on newegg.ca now and the setup would have more muscle than the 570. Not to mention, Asus mobo +Asus videocards should be super compatible.

maybe a 6950? not that the zotac 570 is badly priced either :p

and as it was already pointed out by mr bg you'll need a dual channel kit for ram, 2x4 gigers lets say

You're forgetting the PSU to power everything. Get a 600W for a single GTX570 or if you're getting a dual SLI capable P67/Z68 board and want to do a SLI in the future, get a 800-850W instead.

He might have that already as he stated anything that he didn't list in the original post he already had.

Reg price is $135, but free ground shipping on orders over $50. There are also a couple of other really nice Cooler Master cases on DirectCanada as well. Not going to recommend any until I know what you atr looking for though.

hmm good question, well to be honest i had initially chose the tower i chose, because i have a friend who currently has it, i've only heard good things, especially the simplicity and the space involved. Personally though it's not the pretties tower, i had initially thought of getting the tempest but i feel like it would get too cramped, i don't mind having a huge tower but my budget ideally would be roughly 100 dollars up to 135$. I have a 750watt psu, but i've been thinking of getting a single rail 1000w psu i just havent found anything reliable (as far as comments on the product go) for an affordable price.
