First Gaming Build - Need A Bit of Help

Hello hardware canucks, I have decided I would like to build a PC for myself after buying from the bigger companies like Dell and HP for the past few years. It will be used for gaming and my budget is around 1000$ Before tax. I have put together what looks to be a good build, but some suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I plan to buy all my parts from NCIX, and have price matched the below build to $965.

Thanks :)

Will take an Western Digital instead, but it's me , the rest look nice , take note ; the board you choose support Xfire but not SLI, not a problem with your 6950

Alright mate, Is there any real difference between the WD green and the WD black?

you don't want a green for your OS, they are slow, aside black are waranty for 5 years and green 3

Alright, also, do you think the power supply is a bit overkill? Or is 750w just the right amount?

Your PSU is fine, if you OC it's always good to have power under the hood. Some may say to get a modular one to eliminate some wire in the case...

Yeah I plan on overclocking, also unlocking the 6950 to a 6970, if you can still do that.

Chances are your new sapphire card will not be reference so there won't be a good chance unlocking it to the 6970. I agree with the WD recommendation also.

Looks good, although I'd grab some DDR3 - 1600 memory instead... such as the G.SKILL Ripjaws X F3-12800CL9D-8GBXL 8GB 2X4GB DDR3-1600 CL9-9-9-24 Memory
