imo if you're not watercooling, go 650D. You won't regret it!

If the case is out in full view, then aesthetics would b important, otherwise, if it's tucked away, then functionality/practicality is the way I would choose 2 go. In the end, the choice is yours 2 make,

as recommending a case is highly subjective. There r plenty of good quality/functioning cases 2 choose from.

Good luck with the build and enjoy the new system!

the only reason I am leaning towards haf x is because it bigger. If the 650D was a full tower instead of a mid I would 100% pick it over the haf x

and I would go 932 BE/Advance but everything everyone is saying, is the haf x is better than those models if just for the fact it has dust filters.

But at the end of this week, I will have picked my tower and everything that goes with it, now it is time to pick modding parts

if you like filter have a look at the Antec DF-85, by far the most easy to clean filter on the market

There r ways 2 make your own filters of sorts by taking old nylons & mounting them over all of the openings. That said, 4 air cooling I still think the HAF X has the best capabilities there. The hot swap

bays and usb3 and sata3 r what made up my mind and I haven't regretted it. As stated b4, there r so many possibilities in this area of component choices, so it's hard 2 recommend 1 over the other.

Looking forward 2 the final choice of components, assembly and performance of this new build!

Edit: the gpu shroud was another important factor 4 me because of sli/xfire. With 1 480, I could touch the gpu after working it with Prime 95 after an hour. A high volume fan is the key. With 2, the

heat was much higher but still low enough 2 keep the gpus cool enough.

Since you are shopping for a gtx 580 let me show a pic of my ASUS ENGTX580 DCII/2DIS/1536MD5 , 49'C folding 24/7 in an Antec DF-85 on auto setting , this is by far the coolest GTX 580 I have seen

I liked the Antec Case at first, but as I read more and more, it liked it less and less hahaha.

All honesty probably pick the Haf X or Haf 932 Advance/BE They might not look great, but they sure as hell get the job done.
I just really wish they had a bigger version of the 650D :( Awe well lol

And as for the Asus 580 That is indeed impressive, but honestly I have no idea what Folding is, I know that card has it on all the time. I tried to read into what folding was, but I was just blown away by how complex it seemed. Something to do with bio and making things better, needless to say I gave up on trying to figuring out what exactly it was. So I probably wont be going with a card that does it automatically, but thank you.

the only thing important to know is when you fold it use the GPU at 100% so if it's cold when folding it's cold also when gaming. With this card you don't need a software like after burner to adjust the fan, on auto it work fine, you just put the card in the case, install the driver and forget it.
