The Corsair A70 is not the best cooler ever but it is better than the H212+ and its on special at 30$ (same price) till tomorrow so it might be a consideration.

Also if you are getting a HAF912 consider buying a 200mm megaflow fan for it (pricematch to 11$) or the zalman z9 plus might be a better choice as it has far superior airflow, dustfilters (the HAF is a huge dust magnet), black interior and a temperature probe! all for about the same price (pricematch 55$)...

the rest seems fine (that is if ur getting the directcuii 570, the reference model has horrible vrms) and do u rly need a z68 board? most people only need a p67 and don't need to spend extra money on gimicks like smart response (2HDDs in raid0 get better performance), or onboard graphics you will never use on the z68 platform.

thanks.
the Corsair A70 sale ended on 25th according the link.
you gave a very good point on the zalman z9 plus, if no one has any objections, I'll take it. and do I still need fans with zalman z9 plus?
do you mind be more clear on the directcuii 570? is that the same as ASUS GeForce GTX 570 Fermi 742MHZ 1.28GB 3.8GHZ GDDR5 2XDVI Mini HDMI PCI-E DirectX 11 Video Card? I'm total newb here, if you're using a different term for the same thing, I'm lost.
for the motherboard, by p67 do you mean ASUS P8P67 Pro REV3.0 ATX P67 LGA1155 DDR3 3PCI-E16 2PCI-E1 2PCI Sandy Bridge B3 Motherboard? (thank you, enaberif for suggesting as well) again, you have a very good point here, so if there are no objections, I'll take it too.

I'm suspecting you are looking at the reference asus 570 which you DON'T want as the VRMs are quite weak and quite prone to burning out...might as well get the beefed up version that has better VRMs by far, better cooling and thus a much higher max overclock for better performance. All that and no real price premium is a win in my book (also pricematch to $345)

And for the A70, just add it to your cart, trust me that price will still work till 11pm tomorrow PDT.

Take the H60 over the H70. Unless you plan to upgrade the fans on the H70 the H60 is smaller and has the newer pump which I found works better.

this really tough.
on one hand waiting to see what special for next week sounds right,
but I will lose the corsairH70 or A60 sale if I dont order now.

as for the video card, you made another good point. adding it now.

thanks

PS: just want to confirm that if I use Zalman Z9 Plus ATX Mid Tower Case Black 3X5.25 1X3.5 5X3.5INT No PS W/ Fan Controller & Temp Display, then I don't need Coolermaster Hyper 212 Plus Direct Touch 4 Heatpipe Heatsink AM2 AM3 LGA1366 LGA1155 LGA1156 120MM any more, right??

No no no no no no no, the H212+ is a CPU heatsink...a hunk of metal made to dissipate heat from ur CPU, choosing a different computer CASE doesn't affect the need for one (buying a retail CPU will come with a stock heatsink but honestly you will want to invest in an aftermarket cooler with a K CPU as the stock one will run hot and load if you want to take advantage of SB's amazing OCing headroom).

Now getting the A70 (A for Air, ie no water pump) which is currently on special at the same price (30$) as the H212+ would be a better choice as it is a BETTER HEATSINK and comes with push-pull fans stock...

the Z9 plus is far from being the best case ever but at a budget under 60$ its quite unbeatable. you wont need extra fans but what i would suggest is making it into net positive pressure case by moving the top fan to the side panel and buying two of these filters at $2.19 each to slap onto the fans to keep the dust out!

Edit: you could also consider the current dads 'n grads sale offerings ending tomorrow at NCIX like their motherboard+CPU bundle or CPU+heatsink bundle!

If you choose a high-airflow case like a HAF, you really don't need anything more than the Hyper 212+. As far as the Zalman goes, you'll still need a CPU heat-sink. The fan controller and temp display isn't heat-sink related, if that's what you were thinking.

sorry I made a mistake when I copy and paste, I meant Corsair Cooling Hydro Series H60 High Performance CPU Cooler System LGA1155 LGA1366 LGA1156 AM2 AM3. so if I use this, I don't need the H212+, right?

as for "moving the top fan to the side panel", how do I do that? I will let ncix to assemble for me

When going through the checkout process there will be a line that says " Order Proceesing Notes" in there you put what changes you want the NCIX Builder to do for you.

Also, dont pricematch the videocard for 20$ if you want the 50$ worth of games.
You loose your free gifts when you price match.

Don't rush to get your build done and analyse every possibility to make your buy as good as possible.
