Making my Eyefinity Setup better/advice
First off, here is my build: OS: Microsoft Windows 7 SP1 64-bit Motherboard: M4A88TD-V EVO/USB3 Chip set:880G Southbridge/SB850 CPU: AMD Phenom *6 core 1100T Thuban BE 3.3GHZ (3.7 turbo) CPU cooler: Thermal Take Spin-Q Power Supply: OCZ Fatality 750w GPU: HD Radeon Saphirre Vapor-X 5870 *1 Ram: 8 GB Gskill DDR3 (*2 4GB sticks) DRAM freq. 6667MHz Harddrive: Hitatchi 1TB
SSD: (unused as of yet) OCZ Agility 60GB Displays: Eyefinity triple display, BenQ *3 22 inch Keyboard: Saitek Cyborg V.7 Mouse: Razer Naga Molten Edition PC enclosure: Antec DF-85 Darkfleet
My eyefinity setup is working wonderful. I am only using a single 5870, and it runs most games at a resolution of 6008*1050 on high settings. However, I want to run all games on max settings at full AA. Will I need another GPU (5870's are impossible to find right now) or can I change settings to run games on max with my current hardware? (Its pretty high-end stuff)
Crysis on max works fine on one monitor, however badly lags on a triple display format. I'm assuming that running the game on max at a resolution of 6008*1050 is too much even for the mighty 5870 (impressed with its performance) ? Is another card the answer to my problems or can I tweak things around without overclocking. All my hardware are stock speeds, not familiar with OCing. However, my CPU is pretty speedy (6 cores at 3.3ghz, 3.7 on turbo) as it is. Advice?
